I am a writer and professor in Calgary, Alberta, on Treaty 7 territory. 

I have published two books of poetry, The Nonnets and The Loneliness Machine, and my essays have appeared in The Walrus, Maclean's, Jacobin, and Literary Review of Canada, among other venues. 

I also produce and co-host Sweater Weather, a podcast and live events series about Canadian arts and culture.
